Prayer flags undulate in the breeze
carrying away peoples hopes, dreams, and beliefs, of a better life and great
things for others. High in the mountains
of Bhutan, we sit listening to the wind whistle through the hundreds of
flags. Looking over the valley having a
very special birthday lunch before we set off on a 2.5hour 'downhill' trek,
that may or may not take us only quarter of the way down the mountain. Adventure lost is adventure never gained.
Snapshot Tales
As the shutter clicks, another memory recorded in time. Of a second past, that will never be regained back through life. But will be recorded on the screen, photo paper, or book. For future generations to see, admire, criticise but hopefully most of all cherish what was. Learn from mistakes, conflicts that have been. Photographs, snapshots all tell a tale. The fun part is how we get there....

The Bungle Bungles - Purnululu National Park WA
One of the cool things about cataloguing shots is you get to relive the beautiful places you have seen. Even though most of you that know me, mornings are not high on my agenda, which, at times, can conflict with that theory of ‘light’ making or breaking a photograph. This was worth the 4.30am wake up call to take in the magic of the Bungle Bungles. Let the domes tower overhead, and the light reveal their secrets.

Bucket Lists
We all have them, or if not on paper, think about them. What's them - the things we want to achieve before the toes curl up. Whether it is sky diving from a perfectly good plane. Yes, well you can see that is on my list - not quite. Now put me in a drag car down a the 1/4 mile track with the old Victor Bray - Yahoo.
No, not everyone's cup of tea but hey that is what the world goes round. We are all different. One of my bucket list agenda's was Bhutan. That dream came true only one short month ago. After the first hour of arriving in Paro, still couldn't stop saying OMG; we're in BHUTAN. Amazing country with a population of 690,000 living there. No traffic lights add to the Gross National Happiness. What's on your bucket list :)
